2023 PGA TOUR Canada Qualifying Tournament: Tournament Information
Welcome to the 2023 PGA TOUR Canada Qualifying Tournament Application.
Applications will only be accepted through the online application platform. Each applicant may only compete at one site.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL SITES ARE CURRENTLY FULL AND ALL ACCEPTED NEW REGISTRANTS WILL BE PLACED ON AN ALTERNATE LIST
Please note - site assignments will NOT be based off of first come, first served basis. Site assignments will be determined using your site rankings and a lottery system once ALL applications are accepted upon closing, January 18th, at 5:00 PM EST. Please make sure to take your time when filling out your application to ensure all information is correct.
NOTE: Must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for membership.
NOTE: In accordance with PGA TOUR University Ranking List eligibility, all collegiate players will be ineligible for PGA TOUR University (in the current season and subsequent seasons) if they compete in a Qualifying Tournament for Korn Ferry Tour, PGA TOUR Latinoamérica or PGA TOUR Canada.
Exception: Players in the current season’s Velocity Global Ranking may participate in the PGA TOUR Canada Qualifying Tournament.

Cup Champion - Fully exempt on 2024 Korn Ferry Tour
1st
– 5th on Fortinet Cup Points List – Exempt to final stage of 2023
PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament
6th – 25th on Fortinet Cup Point List – Exempt to 2nd stage of 2023 PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament. .
Membership
Medalist - exempt for the entire 2023 season and not subject to reshuffle.
2nd - 10th (no ties) - exempt up until the reshuffle which will occur at the approximate half way point of the season.
11th - 30th (and ties) - conditional membership, does not guarantee playing opportunities.
Field Size
There will be a maximum of 132 players per site. All 2022-23 PGA TOUR Latinoamérica members, 2023 Korn Ferry Tour members, and 2022 PGA TOUR Canada members will receive priority status with respect to their preferred site if their applications are received by January 18th, 2023 at 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. All other applications received before January 18th, 2023 at 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time will be assigned based on a random selection of the applications.
Should the fields reach the maximum number of players, an alternate list will be created.
Entry Deadline - Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, 5:00pm Eastern Standard USA Time.
Entrants will receive site assignments and pertinent information via e-mail beginning January 24th, 2023.
Withdrawals & Refunds
After site assignments have been distributed, applicants who withdraw before one week of the start of the first scheduled round, will receive a refund minus a US$300 withdrawal fee. Applicants who withdraw within one week of the start of the first scheduled round will receive a refund minus a US$500. No refunds will be issued to contestants after they have started play in the Qualifying Tournament. Contestants who withdraw during the round may be subject to disciplinary action.
